The apartment is recently refurbished, and is about a 3 minute walk away from the railway station, Cairngorm Hotel and other amenities. Other self catering holiday apartments may claim to be close to the centre, or "only a short walk", but Cairmgorm Apartment is about as close as you can get to the centre of Aviemore. But don't worry, it's not on the doorstep of any pubs! In fact, it's located on the quiet cul-de-sac of Grampian Court. The apartment is close to the beaches of Loch Morlich - about a 10 minute drive away (the kids will love it there). For the walkers, there are hundreds of routes available, from the Aviemore Orbital Path, to a more strenuous climb in Cairn Gorm or any of the numerous local Munros. In winter, Aviemore becomes the snow sport centre of the UK, with the Cairngorm Mountain Ski area being only 10 miles away. Away from the pistes, the surrounding mountains offer many ski touring opportunities. |
